Emerging Scholars

The new International Network for Emerging Scholars in Canadian Studies (RIJEC/ INES-Canada) is an initiative first started in 2021 by the Emerging Scholars Forum of the Association for Canadian Studies in German-Speaking Countries (GKS).

The network is committed to:

* To build a global community of emerging scholars in Canadian Studies by establishing direct connections between all students and emerging scholars in the field through their national and international spokespeople;

* To foster new and innovative research in the field of Canadian Studies by emerging scholars;

* To encourage new students and other emerging scholars to get involved in the field of Canadian Studies by providing them with research opportunities.

In the long run, the network wants to organise international activities for emerging scholars in Canadian Studies.
