ICCS was pleased to co-present the second event in its lecture series celebrating the research of its award recipients. On 15 January, Geneviève Susemihl (Kiel University) spoke on her book, Claiming Back Their Heritage: Indigenous Empowerment and Community Development through World Heritage. Susemihl is a 2025 recipient of a Pierre Savard Award. The event was presented with the Association for Canadian Studies in German-Speaking Countries.
