In February 2026, the members of the Association for Canadian Studies in German-speaking Countries elected Professor Dr. Stefanie Schäfer (University of Mannheim, Germany) as the new Vice President of the Association for Canadian Studies in German-speaking Countries (GKS). The Executive Board of the Association wishes to warmly thank outgoing president Professor Dr. Christoph Vatter (University of Jena) for his service.
